Watch Richard Gere and a Shirtless Jacob Elordi in an Exclusive Clip From 'Oh, Canada'

Richard Gere and Jacob Elordi are a match made in movie heaven—and Parade has the exclusive clip to prove it.

In Academy Award nominee Paul Schrader's memory-movie, Oh, Canada, Gere, 75, portrays aging filmmaker Leonard Fife, who is battling an illness and wants to tell his life story before it's too late.

Though he has "much to be proud of," Leonard's past of draft-dodging the Vietnam War and fraught romantic relationships "harbor thorny truths" as he recounts candid stories about his younger self (played by Elordi) to one of his former film students (Michael Imperioli) in an extended interview.

Adapted from the 2021 novel, Forgone by Russell Banks, Oh, Canada also stars Uma Thurman as Leonard's artistic wife, Emma, who "bears witness to it all."

Oh, Canada marks the second film in more than 40 years that Gere and Schrader have worked on together. The pair famously linked up for 1980's crime/thriller, American Gigolo.

While speaking to NPR in December, Gere explained why it was a no-brainer for him to reunite with Schrader for the project.

"Paul wrote a really beautiful script, and it touched me. And it was obviously coming from an emotional place for him, 'cause he was very close to Russell Banks, who wrote the book," Gere said. "And my father had just passed away a few months before Paul called me about this script. My dad was almost 101, and so I was in a kind of a raw state and trying to make sense of my dad's passing when, you know, we got together and decided to make this movie."
