Watch every movie trailer that aired during Super Bowl 2025
"Smurfs," "Stitch," superheroes. Not necessarily in that order.

'Jurassic World Rebirth,' 'Mission: Impossible,' and 'Thunderbolts' were among the movies getting trailers during the 2025 Super BowlAd time is game time. Last year's Super Bowl movie trailers gave us a first look at now-Oscar-nominated Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande's "thrillifying" Wicked, as well as Ryan Reynolds' superhero bro-fest with Hugh Jackman in Deadpool & Wolverine. What did this year bring? Surprisingly, it did not include vampires. Despite advanced tweets from Warner Bros. that stated "Sinners Are Coming to the Game," a trailer for the Michael B. Jordan-starring Sinners did not air.
From dragons (that need to be trained) to dinosaurs (from a franchise's Rebirth) to superheroes (just marvel at what's coming), here are all the movie spotlights that did air during the 2025 Super Bowl.
M3GAN 2.0

"You hear that? The Super Bowl is over, babes." So declared the official Twitter/X account for M3GAN 2.0 when a reduced version of the first teaser dropped. The animatronic A.I. doll appeared on screen bathed in a pink spotlight as she performed the dance she once pulled off before slicing a guy with a paper slicer blade in the first movie. What can we say? She slays.
Thunderbolts*

A brief glimpse at Marvel's Thunderbolts* (yes, that asterisk is intentional) aired during the 2025 Super Bowl commercial breaks, while the above full-length trailer arrived online simultaneously. The likes of Yelena (Florence Pugh) and Alexei (David Harbour) from Black Widow, Bucky (Sebastian Stan) from the Captain America films, Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen) from Ant-Man and the Wasp, and more team up to take on a new threat. This preview is our best look yet at that threat. Watch before the film hits theaters this May 2.
How to Train Your Dragon

Universal brought out both dinosaurs and dragons during the 2025 Super Bowl. The latest sneak peek at the live-action remake of How to Train Your Dragon sees a young Viking named Hiccup (Mason Thames) taking to the skies with Toothless. Plus, we also get to see more of The Last of Us and Dumbo star Nico Parker as Astrid, a popular character from the original animated film. The live-action version will hit theaters this June 13.
Lilo & Stitch
Related: Lilo & Stitch cast: See who's playing who in Disney's live-action remake
Disney's live-action Lilo & Stitch had less of a traditional trailer and more of a Super Bowl commercial. The ad didn't feature any actual footage from the upcoming movie (out May 23), but it did show a CG Stitch running around a football stadium with refs and security trying to catch him. It doesn't go well for them.
Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning
What can we say? It's hard to get tired of watching Tom Cruise running places. The latest —potentially last, but who knows? — outing of Cruise as Ethan Hunt got a sneak peek at Super Bowl 2025. The footage shows — spoiler alert — Ethan running a bunch of places. It's clear a ton of stunts are coming our way in what has been dubbed The Final Reckoning (in theaters May 23). Cruise pulls off stunts on land, sea, and sky — mostly sky — in the new footage.
Jurassic World Rebirth
"What the hell are those?!" Great question, Scarlett Johansson. They are a bunch of mutated dinosaurs deemed too dangerous for the original Jurassic Park, now on full display in the Jurassic World Rebirth Super Bowl trailer. A nearly three-minute-long preview dropped earlier in the week, showing off Jonathan Bailey and Mahershala Ali joining ScarJo for the next era of the franchise. Enjoy this snack-sized 60-second version for the Big Game. The film opens in theaters July 2.
Novocaine
Jack Quaid played Superman (well, voiced) and a superhero-hunting vigilante (The Boys will be boys). Now he's playing a different kind of superhero. In Novocaine (in theaters March 14), Nate (Quaid) is an everyman kind of guy, except that he's unable to feel pain. When his crush (Amber Midthunder) is kidnapped, he uses that ability to his advantage to fight bad guys.

Rihanna isn't headlining the halftime show this year, but she still has a presence at the 2025 Super Bowl — a much smaller presence. She's now the voice of Smurfette, who runs around Paris with her fellow displaced Smurfs in the new partly animated movie (July 18).
F1
Technically Brad Pitt's Formula 1 racing movie (in theaters June 27) didn't have a trailer that aired during the Super Bowl. However, one did drop on the Sunday that just so happens to be Super Bowl Sunday in the hours leading up to the start time. Pitt stars as a former driver who returns to Formula 1 to compete on APXGP team. Damson Idris plays one of his teammates, while the cast also features Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, Kim Bodnia, and Javier Bardem.
