Watch “Borat 2” star Rudy Giuliani fall at the Republican National Convention

Giuliani took a tumble during a walkthrough at the RNC, where Republicans celebrated "Home Alone 2" star Donald Trump as their presidential nominee.

Rudy Giuliani — star of one of the most memorable sequences in the two-time Oscar-nominated sequel Borat Subsequent Moviefilm — took a tumble at the 2024 Republican National Convention.

The 80-year-old disbarred lawyer and former mayor of New York City was captured Tuesday on video as he fell on the floor of Milwaukee's Fiserv Forum on the second day of the conservative political event, according to footage shared to X by Spectrum News producer John Park.

Park's post indicates Giuliani fell "during a walk-through on the floor" at the RNC, while Taylor Popielarz, a reporter at Spectrum News, also shared to social media that Giuliani was "holding an Osmo camera and continued filming once he was back on his feet."

In photographs from the scene of Giuliani's accident, the state abbreviation for Ohio's delegates, "OH," can be seen on the back of a row of chairs Giuliani landed amongst — a fitting exclamation for his surprise spill.

"He took a misstep and fell over. He was uninjured and unfazed by this incident," a member of Giuliani's security team tells Entertainment Weekly in an email, which also suggests there was an unseen step on the floor. "It is shameful that the left-wing media took this opportunity to try and dehumanize America’s greatest Mayor who accomplished, and continues to accomplish so much for this great country."

Giuliani, who previously served as a legal adviser to Home Alone 2 star Donald Trump, attended the convention to cover it as part of his Rudy Giuliani Show on the FrankSpeech platform.

Prior to leading the comical clip, Giuliani had a small (apparently unwilling) role in the second Borat film, which saw Academy Award-nominated actress Maria Bakalova portray the titular character's (Sacha Baron Cohen) teenage daughter, Tutar, who attempts to seduce Giuliani following what the politician seemingly didn't know was a mock press interview.

In the scene, Giuliani appears to reach his hand down his pants, though he ultimately called the movie moment a "complete fabrication" and said he "was tucking in" his shirt.

On Monday night at the RNC, Trump named author, Hillbilly Elegy subject, and junior senator for Ohio J.D. Vance as his running mate; and model Amber Rose appeared on stage to voice support for Trump, two days after a man opened fire on the former president during a campaign event in Pennsylvania.

"I'm here tonight to tell you, no matter your political background, the best chance we have to give our babies a better life is to elect Donald Trump [as] President of the United States," Rose said. "You may be wondering why I'm up here telling you this. I'm no politician, and I don't want to be. But, I do care about the truth, and the truth is that the media has lied to us about Donald Trump. I know this because, for a long time, I believed those lies, so I'm here to set the record straight."
