Aldi recalls popular kids’ snack
Parents have been issued an urgent warning amid contamination concerns in a popular children’s snack.
The Farmwood chicken breast T-rex bites (1kg) has been recalled from Aldi supermarkets due to an undeclared allergen.
Products with the best before date of 27/10/2025 contain the allergen peanuts.
“Any consumers who have a peanut allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if the product is consumed,” the alert from Food Standards Australia states.
“Consumers who have a peanut allergy or intolerance should not consume this product.
“Consumers should return the product to any Aldi store for a full refund. Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice.”
The products have been available for sale across NSW, ACT, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia.
The recall follows an investigation by ALDI and the product supplier, which found the product with the Best Before Date of 27/10/2025 was affected.
It’s understood ALDI is reintroducing the Farmwood Chicken Breast T-Rex Bites 1kg to the market following a thorough investigation.
