If the bright lights of Hollywood have been beckoning for a while but your bank account’s been holding you back, now is your chance to escape to Tinsel Town - and beyond - for a bargain price.

United Airlines will get you from Melbourne to Los Angeles for an incredibly cheap $662 return which is a saving of at least a couple of hundred dollars on regular-priced tickets.

For Sydneysiders, it’s just 16 bucks more - that’s $678 - to jet off to La La Land and back.

Don’t take our word for it, either, as these red hot flight deals even have the founder of airfare ‘insider’ site I Know The Pilot, Garth Adams, impressed.

“I think this is the cheapest I have ever seen for flights to LA,” he told Escape on Sunday.

If LA’s northern neighbour San Francisco is more your style, you’re looking at $670 from Melbourne or $687 from Sydney return, also with United.

These cracker fares to LA and San Fran are for travel between March to November 2020 which just happens to be summertime in the USA.

Hop to it, as these cut-price seats won’t last.
