Twix Fans Lose It Over Rumored New Release: ‘Shut Up It’s Happening’

A new flavor of Twix appears to be on the horizon, and fans of the candy bar are getting pumped, saying that their mouths “are watering” in anticipation.

A new flavor, Snickerdoodle, is reportedly coming soon according to popular food blogger Snackolator.

The foodie influencer shared the news on Jan. 25 that the new flavor is “coming soon,” but did not specify when or if it will be a permanent addition or just temporary. He also was not sure if it would be exclusive to specific stores only, though he seemed confident that it likely would not be.

“I am guessing the cookie itself gives the Snickerdoodle flavor, but not sure if anything else has a Snickerdoodle injection!” he wrote in a caption accompanying an image of the candy bar.

Fans jumped into the comments to give their opinion on the reported candy, writing, “SHUT UPPPP IT’S HAPPENING 😭✨👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼,” and, “That sounds so good 😍🍫.”

Overall, they seemed excited to try the upcoming flavor based on past successes from Twix, commenting, “The Salted caramel Twix is fantastic. This will be on my watchlist next time Im out to a gas station.”

Some liked the concept but wanted another flavor to come out instead. “Inching closer to sugar cookie twix reality. I wonder if it gonna be the cookie that going be snickerdoodle or the caramel itself. They could tweak around with cookie portion. Even cake batter flavored cookie,” wrote one fan. Another agreed, commenting, “But we want the sugar cookie that was never released!!!”

Others were upset that a new flavor would come out instead of a revival of a discontinued fan-favorite, commenting, “No! We need Twix peanut butter back!!” and “Please just bring back the peanut butter because these other flavors are trash.” A third chimed in to say, “Need gingerbread twix back.”

While the brand didn’t comment on the social posts, Parade was told it "will be sure to share details when they’re ready"
