This particular vampire drama just happens to be Max’s all-time favorite show — which is saying a lot, given how much TV she watches — prompting her to beg Chief Li to assign her and Ellis to the case, giving them face time with the show’s four leads.
But when a series of “mysterious and potentially deadly mishaps” begin occurring during their visit, Max and Ellis become suspicious of those already on set, including Greene’s Wendy. The show’s unlikely duo will “have to find the wannabe killer before he or she starts making their cryptic threats a reality.”
Wild Cards stars Vanessa Morgan (Riverdale) as Max Mitchell, a con artist working with police to keep herself out of jail, and Giacomo Gianniotti (Grey’s Anatomy) as Cole Ellis, a demoted detective struggling to climb back up the ladder. The cast also includes Jason Priestley (Beverly Hills, 90210) as Max’s father George Graham, Terry Chen (The Expanse) as Chief Li and Karin Konoval (Snowpiercer) as Commissioner Russo.
