What really happened between Delta and Seal

The onscreen chemistry between Seal and Delta Goodrem on The Voice has been undeniable in the past, leading to rumours the pair have even been a romantic item.

Now the two singing sensations are set to work together on the reality show again, but it looks like their history may not be all as it seems.

According to fellow musician Boy George, who is joining Seal and Delta on The Voice coaching panel this year, the stars have "never been together".

During an interview on KIIS FM's Kyle and Jackie O show on Friday morning, radio host Kyle Sandilands told Boy George: "Here's some extra information you might not know. Seal and Delta, they hooked up! There was some sort of sex there".

But the music legend was quick to shut down the shock jock's claims.

"No there wasn’t," he said, before dropping a bombshell.

"I might be being controversial but Seal fancied the pants off Delta… and the pants were tight," he revealed.

Kyle was adamant that "they've been together", but Boy George responded, "No, they’ve never been together".

Kyle's co-host Jackie O asked the musical star just how he knew this inside information, and he explained: "[I'm a] gay man, girls tell me everything!"

Revealing that he spoke to Delta about the situation between her and Seal, Boy George divulged: "Well I said, 'Oh he fancies you', and she said 'No he doesn’t, no he doesn’t'. And I said, 'Babe are you blind? Stevie Wonder can see that. He fancies you, I mean come on'.

"It’s like guys come on the show and throw themselves at her," he added.

Delta and Seal worked together on The Voice in 2012 and 2014, and are set to sit in the coaching chairs yet again alongside new additions Kelly Rowland and Boy George.

The two stars certainly had heads turning back in 2012, when they greeted each other with a sweet kiss at the TV Week Logie Awards.

The Innocent Eyes songstress had split from Nick Jonas earlier that year, while Seal was in the midst of his divorce from model Heidi Klum.

The following year rumours swirled that they were a romantic item.

"Seal has always been very affectionate towards Delta, but this is different. They’ve been spotted holding hands on set,” a source told Woman’s Day magazine at the time.

"Their chemistry is so apparent and they look like love-struck teenagers. No-one would be surprised if they were more than just friends."
