Travis Kelce Fans React to Internet User's Discovery of Rookie Card He 'Loathes'

Fans are always quick to share their opinions when it comes to Travis Kelce's style—but it turns out the NFL star might be more critical of his own appearance than anyone else.

On Monday, Nov. 11, an X user shared a photo of the Kansas City tight end's infamous 2013 Topps Chrome Base rookie card (noting that their dad was in possession of the piece of memorabilia), prompting commenters to chime in with their take on the athlete's look in the pic—with many pointing out that Travis himself "hates" the card.

"Oh my god my dad has a Travis Kelce rookie card," the post's caption read.

"Kelce has talked about this rookie card on his podcast. He loathes it!! As usual, said with good humour," a second commenter chimed in.

"This make me laugh every time I see it....!!!!!" admitted another person.

"it honestly is such a weird picture for a rookie card," declared someone else.

Travis didn't hold back when his brother, Jason Kelce, asked about the card during a January 2024 episode of New Heights, as first transcribed by Sports Illustrated.

“How did this end up being your rookie card?” Jason wanted to know.

“I f—ing hate that card,” Travis answered. “That card is disgusting, dude.”

“It looks like you’re trying to catch the ball with your mouth,” Jason joked. “It’s just uncalled for, man,” Travis agreed, going on to say that he doesn't want to sign the card anymore.

“Anybody ever asks me to sign that card again, I’ll set it in flames right there in front of you," he said.
