Those who have already tasted the sweet and zesty flavors of one of Trader Joe’s all-time best cake creations knows exactly what they are in for with this return offering. And fans online happen to be just as excited as we are about it.
“Add some fresh blueberries on top! Divine,” wrote one fan who obviously has some experience bringing out the best of an already fantastic dessert. “Too easy to eat in one sitting,” another fan added. And as if speaking into existence what all of us are already thinking, one commenter wrote, “I can’t buy the sheet cakes anymore. Nope. If you’re new to the table, Trader Joe’s iconic Lemon Mini Sheet Cake is made up of a moist, flavorful lemon cake that is topped with a delicious lemon cream cheese frosting that is then sprinkled with lemon zest. Altogether, the cake weighs about 18-ounces and measures to be roughly 7-inches long by 5-inches wide while standing about an inch and a half tall (frosting included). According to sources online, it should start arriving at a Trader Joe’s near you for the more than affordable price of $5.49.
