The 2024 Tony Awards Nominees Are Announced

Tony Awards sets date for 2024

The Tony Awards have a brand-new home! It was announced in October that the 77th Annual Tony Awards, will be televised live from Lincoln Center in New York City. Broadway’s biggest night will take place Sunday, June 16, 2024.

Ariana DeBose will return to host theater's biggest night.

“I couldn’t pass up the chance to host the Tonys one more time at Lincoln Center,” said DeBose. "I’m excited to collaborate with the team to create an incredible celebration of this season’s achievements on Broadway for our community and for everyone at home."

It only makes sense that one of the most prestigious awards in entertainment would be presented in one of the world's grandest arts complexes.

Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts is home to 11 arts organizations including Lincoln Center Theater, the Metropolitan Opera, the New York Philharmonic, the New York City Ballet, Film at Lincoln Center, School of American Ballet, Jazz at Lincoln Center, the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, and the Juilliard School.

The 77th Tony Awards will celebrate excellence during Broadway’s 2023-2024 season. Officially called the Antoinette Perry Awards, the Tonys were founded by the American Theatre Wing in 1947.
