Today host Brooke Boney wears $2.5k dress to the Oscars

This is her first Oscars as Today’s new entertainment reporter, and Brooke Boney made quite the style statement as she hit the 2019 Academy Awards red carpet.

The 31-year-old Australian TV presenter arrived at the Dolby Theatre in Toni Maticevski’s Mandrake Dress which retails for AU$2,500.

“1000th picture, 1st Oscars,” Brooke wrote on Instagram next to a full-length snap of her glam outfit.

Brooke’s dress has previously been worn by actress Elsa Pataky.

Christ Hemsworth’s wife wore the creation by the Australian designer to the premiere of her Netflix show Tidelands back in December.

Brooke joined Today’s veteran entertainment reporter Richard Wilkins in Hollywood for Tinsel Town’s biggest night.

This is her first major international red carpet since joining the Channel Nine breakfast show at the start of the year.

Brooke’s addition to the show was part of Nine’s shakeup of the Today panel, with Deborah Knight joining Georgie Gardner as Karl Stefanovic’s replacement, and Tom Steinfort taking over newsreader duties from Sylvia Jeffreys.
