Tina Knowles Shared Some Rare Insights On Beyoncé And Solange's Childhood

So many people have had to deal with bullying at some point in their lives — and, as it turns out, that includes Beyoncé.

In a Vogue TikTok shared on May 26, Tina Knowles — mother to Beyoncé and Solange Knowles, of course — got real about her famous children's childhood habits and inner lives. And revelations were indeed delivered!

Beyoncé, she was very shy,” Tina explained. “She got bullied a bit... The day that she stood up for someone…she didn’t stand up for herself, she stood up for them.”

“I’m getting emotional talking about it. I couldn’t have been more proud of her.”

Tina also shed some light on Solange's childhood, revealing that Beyoncé's equally legendary sister was "always an activist" and would ask people to sign petitions from a young age.

She also dished on Beyoncé's childhood friend and Destiny's Child bandmate Kelly Rowland. “Kelly was always this kid that tried to protect everybody,” she recalled.

Tina shared the clip on IG and wrote in the caption, "Each child is different! But all so special. I believe kids are born with their personalities. My three girls All handled things very differently. Learn their personalities and respect the individuality."
