Tina Fey Would Save One Thing From a House Fire, and It's Not Her Wedding Album

Tina Fey has her emergency escape plan in place should her home ever catch fire, but you'd never guess what she'll be running through the flames to salvage.

As she makes the press rounds following the release of the film adaptation of the Broadway musical Mean Girls, she stopped by to chat with Seth Meyers on Late Night, where she revealed her prized possession to the world—and it's not her wedding album or any other sort of family heirloom as you'd probably expect.

No, the Saturday Night Live alum will be risking life or limb over a coffee mug that we'd put a max price tag of $12.99 on top of. It's "a very simple mug" that the comedian found at Homegoods, featuring three jack-o-lanterns and the word "SCARY!" written above them.

While it may not seem like much to the naked eye, Fey emphasized her reliance on the ceramic drinkware, telling Meyers, "Just know that if my house was on fire and I had to choose between my wedding album and this mug, I would 100 percent take this mug."

Despite what some naysayers may believe, it's a year-round drinking receptacle, which Fey likes "because if I were an object, I would be this mug, because it says 'scary' but it's not really scary." She jokingly added, "And it's a little bit wider and heavier than you expect."

"Tina Fey is beyond passionate about her favorite mug," the Late Night account captioned the relatable video.

"I have never related to Tina Fey more," one fan wrote in the comments, while another said, "She likes what she likes. Here for it!"

For those who believe in spooky season all year round, it just further proved their point, as one wrote, "Everyday is Halloween. It's a fact."

Hey, one thing is for sure—Karen Shetty approves!
