Tiktoker calls out stranger holding 'creepy' sign at women on beach

A TikTok user has taken to the app to share video of her being harassed by a man who stood in front of her at the beach while holding a sign about how women should dress modestly.

The woman who goes by @.Katie.Simmons on the app filmed the man who was holding a sign that read, "God says Christian women dress modest... Repent turn to Jesus."

"Sir, it's a beach!" Katie tells him. "Are we supposed to dress modest at a beach?"

"God doesn't want women – " he begins, before Katie interrupts him.

"What if God is fake," she quips.

People were quick to comment on the video, which has since had almost 700,000 views.

"He's just out there as an excuse to stare at women without them feeling uncomfy," one user wrote.

"God says Christian men don't look lustfully (Matthew 18:9 and if your eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away)," another added.

"It's like going to a bar and being mad that people are drinking, like find a better use of your time and let people live," someone else commented.

"It's always the creepiest people. Always," a fourth wrote.

"Bro just needed an excuse to tell his wife so he could go stare at some skin," another wrote.

"How miserable do you have to be to go to a beach and instead of having fun at the ocean, choose to try to shame women for having fun at the ocean?" one user questioned.

"And they are wondering why the younger generation is turning away from the church," another added.

"That verse he chose was talking about how to dress for worship. Not for the beach," someone else pointed out.
