Tiffini Hale, former Mickey Mouse Club star, dies aged 46

Former Mickey Mouse Club member Tiffini Hale has died at the age of just 46 after suffering a cardiac arrest in early December that left her in a coma.

Her co-stars from the show Deedee Magno Hall and Chasen Hampton confirmed the sad news with a tribute on Instagram, writing: "It is with the heaviest of broken hearts that we share the sad news of the passing of our beloved sister, Tiffini Talia Hale."

Tiffini was a regular on The All New Mickey Mouse Club from 1989 thru 1995 and was an original member of The Party.

She had appeared alongside many of the Mickey Mouse Club alums including Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake, Ryan Gosling and Keri Russell.

In the post, her bandmates revealed she had been left fighting for her life in a coma after a cardiac arrest "earlier this month".

"After many prayers and with her family by her side, our dearest Tiff took her last breath Christmas morning. She is now resting peacefully," the post continued.

"Tiffini’s family has kindly asked that their privacy be respected as they take this time to grieve.

"Tiffini’s mother Nancy and sister Tanya send their love to all, as well as many thanks for such kind support through the years.

"On behalf of Tiffini’s family, and her Party and MMC brothers and sisters, we want to thank all of you for the love and well wishes you have expressed for our dear Tiffini.

"Her beauty, talent, style and fun loving spirit will forever live in our hearts and memories."

The tribute was signed off by "Deedee, Chasen, Jeune, Damon and the entire Mickey Mouse Club family".

Fans were quick to share their shock and sadness on the post, with one person writing: "This is horrific news! Heartbroken to read this. She sparked so much joy in so many including me! Devastated!"

America actress Jennifer Paz commented: "Oh my dear friend. I’m so so sorry for your loss. I’m holding a space in my heart for you. Sending you love and prayers."
