Tiffany Haddish had an interesting way of making some money before she was famous.

During an appearance on Nick Cannon's We Playin' Spades podcast on Monday, July 29, Haddish, 44, admitted she'd get some extra cash by pretending to sell Halle Berry's underwear online.

During the Spades game, which saw Haddish and her teammate Dionne play against Cannon, 43, and comedian Courtney Bee, host Cannon joked of the next round, "If we win, y'all gotta leave your drawers on the clothing line."

"I'll mail them in like I used to back in the day when I was struggling for money. I used to sell my panties," the Girls Trip actress said.

"I would say my name was Rosalinda and I was a housekeeper for Halle Berry and I have some of her dirty panties if anybody wants to buy some," Haddish went on.

"And I would make $300," she said, adding that, "It was literally on Craigslist."

Haddish previously mentioned Berry, 57, in an interview with Vanity Fair back in 2017, saying people would compare her to the actress in 1995's Losing Isaiah, in which Berry plays a drug addict.

"When I was young, people used to be like ‘You look just like Halle Berry—out of Losing Isaiah," she recalled at the time.

“I don’t care; she was still beautiful in that movie! And I used to use her name to get in clubs. I used to be like, ‘Halle Berry’s my auntie,' ” Haddish continued, adding that it worked, "Every single time."

Haddish has opened up about her life pre-fame and her time as a struggling stand-up comic on multiple occasions.

In a 2018 interview with Vanity Fair, she said Kevin Hart, 45, had previously lent her money while she was homeless and living out of her car.

At the time, the duo were performing together in a sketch comedy show called Comedy Playground. After realizing her living situation, Hart gave Haddish $300 to get a motel room and suggested she write down her goals and start working towards achieving them.

The day after writing her list, she was offered an apartment. “I go look at it, and it’s like the most raggediest apartment you could ever imagine, it was just nasty and disgusting, roaches everywhere, cigarette stains in the carpet, the walls are all yellow from whatever, whoever was living there before smoking so much,” Haddish, who said Hart has refused to take back his $300, recalled at the time.

“It was just disgusting. The stove was full of roaches and the refrigerator was broken. It was all bad. The guy was like, ‘It’s $550 a month,’ and I was like, ‘It’s perfect! I’ll take it!’” she added.

"I still have that place. I still have it. I had to fix it up myself and I still got it," she told Corden.
