NRL star Tom Burgess and girlfriend Tahlia Giumelli are expecting their first baby, and have now shared another update with fans.

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, Thomas told his followers: “10 fingers and 10 toes was all we wanted to hear! Great job cooking the little one T, all sound as a pound. Exciting times ahead”.

Attached was a photo of the excited couple holding onto an ultrasound.

Their happy news comes just two years after they began dating in November 2016.

Last year Thomas hinted he’d be keen to be a father, when speaking about his interactions with his brothers’ kids.

“I love my uncle duties,” he told The Daily Telegraph at the time.

“You hug them, play with them, rile them up and then give them back.”
