There's a new star of Budweiser's iconic Super Bowl ads: See the cute baby Clydesdale

A supporting actor among the Budweiser Clydesdales becomes a star in the beer brand's new Super Bowl commercial.

In the TV spot, a foal is too small to join the team as it heads out with a full load of Budweiser kegs. But a keg rolls off the wagon and the youngster makes it their mission to get the runaway keg to its destination.

The commercial, entitled “First Delivery,” is the 47th Super Bowl ad to feature the Budweiser Clydesdales. The horses have appeared in some of the most iconic Super Bowl commercials of all including the "Puppy Love" commercial from 2014.

That 2014 ad is the last commercial to earn a collective score above 8 (8.10) in USA TODAY's Ad Meter ratings – and marks Anheuser-Busch InBev's latest victory in the Ad Meter ratings competition.

Watch the Super Bowl with the Clydesdales

That scene-stealing foal and 70 other Clydesdales – including a new colt born recently – will be on the scene for the annual Football and Foals Watch Party, held at the Warm Springs Ranch, the horses' breeding and training facility in Boonville, Missouri, about 150 miles west of St. Louis.

The Football & Foals event starts at 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 9 (tickets are $100 for those over 21, available at WarmSpringsRanch.com). You will see the Clydesdales, get a tour, appetizers, dinner – plus two free beers, a coolie and keychain – and watch the game on a 10-foot by 14-foot LED wall.

“This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet the stars of the newest Budweiser commercial right here on their home turf, during the Big Game,” said Amy Trout, manager of Warm Springs Ranch. “We’re looking forward to a great turnout by giving fans the opportunity to celebrate the decades of legacy and history the Budweiser Clydesdales have with the Super Bowl.”
