While some are fortunate to outgrow their blemishes after their teenage years, there are many out there that suffer with adult acne and oily skin.

If you have spots that you just can’t get rid of, this blemish formula from the cult skin brand The Ordinary (available at Priceline) might be for you.

Made with niacinamide 10% and zinc 1%, The high-strength vitamin and mineral formula helps combat oiliness and large pores and is suitable for every skin type.

Coming in at only $9.90, this holy grail formula is said to be a game-changer against skin imperfections.

”Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) is indicated to reduce the appearance of skin blemishes and congestion,” the product description reads.

“A high 10% concentration of this vitamin is supported in the formula by zinc salt of pyrrolidone carboxylic acid to balance visible aspects of sebum activity.”

They do note that while Niacinamide and Zinc PCA ‘reduce the look of blemishes and balance visible sebum activity, neither is a treatment for acne’.

Here’s what customers have been saying about this formula:

“Honestly, I noticed my face is much more ‘glowing’ now because of it. It's just a cheap yet effective product,” one person said.

“I found that putting this product directly onto pimple has drastically reduced them by the next morning. I did try to wear this during the day all over the skin but it dried it out far too much. I would recommend directly onto any scarring or acne you have. Additionally, this has assisted in reducing the size of my pores,” another person said.
