The Crown refuses to cover one moment in royal history
Season five of The Crown will be hitting screens next month with Netflix revealing the one moment that will never be shown in the series.
The show is currently filming season six, with Netflix confirming the one moment that won't make it to screens – Princess Diana's car crash.
"The exact moment of the crash impact will not be shown," Netflix shared with The Sun.
It comes after a source revealed to Deadline that the sixth season will portray before and after the crash, "It's the run-up: the car leaving The Ritz after midnight with paparazzi in pursuit and then the aftermath with the British Ambassador to France swinging into action with the Foreign Office and then the subsequent constitutional aftermath."

The crash, which took place on August 31 1997, saw Diana and her boyfriend Dodi Al Fayed chased by paparazzi in Parish, leading to a crash in a tunnel.
Dodi died on impact, while Diana later passed away in hospital at the age of 36.
Season five of the show will showcase the events of 1992, which was referred to by the Queen as the royal family's "annus horribilis" or horrible year.
During this 'horrible year', Windsor Castle caught fire, suffering extensive damage, as well as the divorces of Prince Charles and Princess Diana, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson AKA Fergie, and Princess Anne and Captain Mark Phillips.
It also saw the release of Andrew Morton's tell-all book Diana: Her True Story, which was written with the Princess' help.
In the book, Diana revealed that she was unhappy with royal life and her marriage, and was even driven to suicidal thoughts.
Later in the year, Fergie was pictured sunbathing topless while having her feet kissed by her financial advisor John Bryan.
