Thanksgiving food deals 2024: Find cheap turkey and fixings from Walmart, Target, Aldi, more

Thanksgiving is just a few days away, and while some folks have gotten a head start on their holiday shopping, there’s bound to be a family or two out and about on the hunt for good deals.

Grocery store chains around the country have spent the past month filling shoppers in on just how much they can expect to spend this year.

Take Save A Lot, for instance. The chain has promised customers they’ll be able to celebrate Thanksgiving while feeding 8 people for $30, the company told USA TODAY.

ALDI's Thanksgiving deal: Pay $47 and feed a family of 10

Discount grocery store ALDI has capped its Thanksgiving bundle at $47 for a family of 10, or less than $4.70 per person. Prices will be honored until Wednesday.

What’s included:

• 6-pound Butterball turkey with spices

• Gravy

• Rolls

• Macaroni and cheese

• Stuffing

• Ingredients for cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole and pumpkin pie

Target's Thanksgiving deal: Four people for $20

Target shoppers will be able to feed a family of four for $20, the retailer said.

What’s included:

• Good & Gather Premium Basted Young Turkey (frozen) – up to 10 pounds

• Good & Gather Russet Potatoes – 5 pounds

• Del Monte Cut Green Beans – 14.5 ounces

• Campbell's Cream of Mushroom Soup – 10.5 ounces

Thanksgiving meal deals at Amazon Fresh, Whole Foods: Feed 6 for under $30

Amazon Fresh’s 2024 Thanksgiving deal includes enough for a family of 6, capped at $30, or $5 per person, the company said. The deal will run through Thursday.

What’s included:

• Butterball turkey

• Instant mash potatoes from Amazon Fresh or 365 by Whole Foods Market

• Gravy mix from Happy Belly

• Stuffing mix from Amazon Fresh

• Canned green beans and corn from Amazon Fresh or Amazon Saver

Amazon Prime members can get a 365 by Whole Foods Market Frozen Whole Turkey for $1.49 a pound, the company said in an announcement.

Lidl's Thanksgiving meal deal: Pay $45, feed a family of 10

Over at Lidl, customers will be able to feed 10 people for $45, or less than $4.50 per person. The list includes a Shady Brook Farms turkey, as well as sweet rolls, jellied cranberries by Lidl and more.

Kroger’s Thanksgiving meal deal: $4.85 per person for Freshgiving bundle

Kroger’s Freshgiving bundle feeds 10 people for under $50, the company said. The bundle includes stuffing, turkey, potatoes and more will cost customers $4.85 per person.

Walmart's 'inflation-free' Thanksgiving meal deal

Walmart announced plans this year to sell holiday items so low that families get for less than $7 per person.

Calling its Thanksgiving meal “inflation-free,” Walmart has compiled a shopping list for customers at www.walmart.com.

The list contains items such as a Honeysuckle white whole turkey ranging from 10 to 17 pounds for $12.41, Campbell's Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup for $2 and Marie Callender's southern pecan pie for $5.63.

Kinders is also offering holiday specials at Walmart. Their deals include:

• Kinder's Thanksgiving Meal Bundle with Butcher's Brine – Butcher’s Turkey Brine Kit, Crispy Fried Onions, Homestyle Stuffing Mix and Bone Broth Gravy.

Save A Lot's Thanksgiving deal: Feed 8 people for $30

At Save A Lot, customers will be able to feed a family of 8 for $3.75 per person, a spokesperson for the company said.

The deal is running until Thursday and includes turkey, sweet potatoes, rolls, macaroni and cheese, whole kernel corn or cut green beans, pumpkin pie and whipped topping, the spokesperson said.

Sam’s Club’s Thanksgiving meal deal: 10 for under $100

Sam's Club is offering a Thanksgiving bundle that’ll cost customers less than $100 to feed a family of 10. The company has promised that items from its store brand, Member's Mark, will be part of the deal.

Dollar General has marketed its Thanksgiving deals as buy two, get one free. Customers can select from a list of items to get what suits them, the company said.

Customers can take advantage of the deal in three ways:

• Pumpkin Pie Bundle: Buy a 6-count Keebler mini pie crust and a 12-ounce container of Eagle Brand evaporated milk, then get one free 15-ounce Clover Valley canned pumpkin.

• Green Bean Casserole Bundle: Buy a 10 ½-ounce can of Campbell’s cream of mushroom soup and a 2.8-ounce container of French’s fried onions, then get a free 14 1⁄2-ounce can of Clover Valley green beans.

• Sweet Potato Casserole Bundle: Buy a 29-ounce can of Bruce’s yams and a 2-pound bag of Clover Valley brown sugar, then get a free 10-ounce bag of Kraft mini marshmallows.

The offers will be available until Thursday, Dollar General said.
