The bonkers tale of Joe Exotic, the former keeper of a private zoo in Oklahoma, and his vendetta against big cat conservationist Carole Baskin has now been watched by 64 million households worldwide, according to Netflix.

And there’s a lot to soak up in the 7-part series, including a murder-for-hire plot, unending feuds, the mistreatment of animals and animal attacks on workers in private zoos. Even the subplots, such as Exotic’s exaggerated music career and his marriage to two men at one time, are fascinating. At times, there’s almost too much drama to follow.
