Teri Hatcher Got Kicked Off of Hinge
It’s hard out there for a desperate housewife.
As if dating isn't already difficult enough as it is, imagine getting accused of catfishing because of who you are. Well, that's what happened to Terri Hatcher when she tried to put herself out there with a little help from the apps.
"I've tried them all, and I tried my latest one. I tried Hinge," Hatcher explained during HSN+ series Getting Grilled with Curtis Stone, per Entertainment Weekly. But she went on to explain that her experience with the popular platform didn't go as planned.
"You know, I thought, 'I'm gonna say to the universe that I am open and vulnerable, and I'm putting myself out there.' That's what I thought my gesture of joining that Hinge app would be," she told the chef. "And then, they kicked me off."
Stone asked Hatcher why she got the boot from Hinge, to which she explained that they thought she was "pretending to be Teri Hatcher."

"I complained, I was like, 'Can I have my money back [since] you kicked me off?'" she recalled. "They apologized, and then I was like, 'Eh, I'm sort of over it.' So, now I'm over it."
While Hatcher hasn't totally given up on the prospect of dating, she won't be getting back online to meet that someone special. "I'm definitely done with the dating apps, and I feel like if there's any way I'll go somewhere and meet someone, that's what it's gonna have to be," she said before adding that she'll still be fulfilled even if it doesn't happen for her.
"Honestly, I'm happy. I have a really full life, a really busy life," she continued. "I have beautiful friends. I, you know, it's fine. I don't need a man. I have a cat."
