How “Ted Lasso”'s Juno Temple Shows Off 'Surprising Strength' in 2025 Super Bowl Ad with NFL Player Myles Garrett (Exclusive)

Juno Temple is ready for the NFL!

The Ted Lasso star, 35, joins Cleveland Browns defensive edge Myles Garrett in Oikos' new Super Bowl ad, and she tells PEOPLE that the protein-packed yogurt makes her feel strong enough to tackle anything.

"It was all about strength and how surprising strength can be and the power that it brings," she says, "and the fact that [Myles] was so game for me to scoop him up and throw him over my shoulder was just kick ass!"

PEOPLE has an exclusive first-look at the ad featuring the unlikely pair as they team up to ensure Garrett, who sports an orthopedic boot in the commercial, can still make his flight on time even when his departure gate gets unexpectedly changed.

Temple, who is sitting at her gate eating Oikos yogurt while she waits to board, helps Garrett race through the airport by hosting him up over her shoulder thanks to the strength she gets from the protein-packed snack.

Though the ad admits it's partially a dramatization, Temple is pleased to inform audiences that, as far as she's concerned, the yogurt really does work.

"At the beginning, when we're sitting opposite each other at the airport seats, for the first lean down and lift up, I was impressive. Oikos Triple Zero does its job, I'm telling you," she says.

Temple adds that she thinks "the concept is pretty genius" for the ad and getting to work with Garrett was a no-brainer.

Admittedly, however, she was "asking Myles lots of questions" about the pro sport after having grown up "with football being a different football."

"You guys say soccer!" says the British actress. "But Myles is one of the greatest defensive players."

Garrett is equally as complimentary of his costar (and he, too, was familiar with her work).

"My favorite part about working with Juno was her energy. In the best way, she's eccentric and witty," he tells PEOPLE. "And I spent some time in Europe when I started watching Ted Lasso, which brought a humorous side to watching the sport."

Garrett was also amused by the ad's set during production: Oikos filmed the commercial in the Ontario airport, which the NFL star says was "one of the coolest parts" of the experience.

Super Bowl LIX will be held on Sunday, Feb. 9, at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans where the Kansas City Chiefs will face off against the Philadelphia Eagles.
