Taylor Swift's Birthday Sparks 'Incredible' Acts of Kindness From Fans

Taylor Swift fans were clearly inspired by the way the singer chose to spend her time on the day before her 35th birthday—greeting young fans receiving treatment at a Kansas City children's hospital.

In honor of her big day on Friday, Dec. 13, Swifties pledged to raise $13,000 for St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital with a fundraiser that, at the time of publishing, had already surpassed $6,000.

"another incredible birthday fundraiser is taking place for st jude’s hospital!" one fan gushed on X while sharing a link to the fundraiser. "swifties are capable of magic, we’ve seen this before, and it’s always so beautiful to see us come together to make as much of that magic as we can 🫶🏼."

Some also chose to donate directly to the hospital Swift visited earlier in the week, while others suggested supporting "local care centers" in her name since "she can't visit all the hospitals!" and starting the "#TaylorSwiftChallenge" trending on social media.

Many donated $13—the "Mastermind" songstress' lucky number—to their local children's hospital or other related charities, including Edinburgh's Children's Hospital and Riley Children's Foundation, among many others.

Fans were eager to contribute as word spread while families affected by childhood illnesses expressed appreciation.

"This is such a cool idea! My little Swiftie is a St Jude patient!" one wrote. "6 years in remission now!! St. Jude is EVERYTHING they claim to be and so much more."

It's not the first time Swift's fans have come together for a good cause in her honor. In 2019, they raised $13,000 for the American Cancer Society days before her 30th birthday.
