Yahoo Lifestyle Taylor Swift Spent Free Time Mid-Eras Tour by Getting Back 'in the Studio Making Music': Source (Exclusive)
There's no rest for Taylor Swift.
Even in the midst of her years-long, record-breaking Eras Tour, the 14-time Grammy Award-winning artist, 35, was working hard on new material, a source exclusively tells Parade.
"She was working out, then rehearsing a lot and also in the studio making music," the insider says of what Swift was doing in her downtime between concert legs last fall, while boyfriend Travis Kelce's 2024-2025 NFL season was well underway.
Parade has reached out to Swift's team for comment.
Earlier this week, a source exclusively revealed to Parade that Swift and Kelce, 35, "began talking in August 2023" before Swift attended her first Kansas City Chiefs game to support the three-time Super Bowl champion the following month.
Swift previously talked about her and Kelce's relationship for the first time in her TIME "Person of the Year" profile, published in December 2023, only revealing that the pair had started talking in the summer that year.
"This all started when Travis very adorably put me on blast on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell. We started hanging out right after that,” Swift told the outlet. “So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other.”
She added: "By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple. I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to hard-launch a first date.”
Since going public with their romance, both Kelce and Swift have supported one another in their respective careers. Kelce attended numerous Eras Tour concerts, even making his onstage debut during her show at Wembley Stadium in London in June last year.
For her part, Swift has been a mainstay at Kansas City Chiefs games throughout the 2024-2025 season, which wrapped in February after the Chiefs lost the bid for their third consecutive Super Bowl championship to the Philadelphia Eagles.
