Taylor Swift Receives Heartfelt Gift from U2 Members

Taylor Swift has officially brought the Eras Tour to Dublin—and the members of U2 made sure she received a proper Irish welcome.

Ahead of her concert at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Friday, June 28, Swift received a heartfelt note from the members of the beloved band, made up of Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr.

Swift, 34, took to Instagram earlier in the day on Friday to show off the thoughtful package she received, which consisted of a bouquet of white, purple and pink flowers.

The note, which Swift snapped a photo of, was addressed, "Dear Taylor," and included a witty message that read, "Welcome back to our hometown...leave some of it standing?!!!!"

It was signed, "Your Irish fan club, Bono, Edge, Adam and Larry."

Sharing the photo to her Instagram Stories, Swift wrote across the pic, "Already feeling that Irish hospitality!!"

"@u2, thanks for always being the classiest & the coolest," she added, alongside an Irish flag emoji.

But the Irish rock band isn't the only one going out of their way to welcome Swift to Dublin, as Irish radio station, Today FM, recently transformed a beach into a massive art installation in honor of the "Fortnight" songstress.

On Friday, the station went viral on X for the massive display, which was made in collaboration with signage company Mack Signs, and required hours of labor to spell out the giant letters using a black tarp.

The message, seen in an aerial shot of the beach, read "Ireland (Taylor's Version)," and was said to be the size of two Olympic swimming pools.

"Happy Taylor Swift day," the station wrote on X.
