Sam Armytage takes aim at Sunrise host Nat Barr: 'Forget me'
Former Sunrise host Samantha Armytage has seemingly taken a jab at her replacement Natalie Barr when asked about the pair's relationship following rumours they didn't get along off-screen.
During an appearance on The Kyle and Jackie O Show, Sam was asked about Nat's claim they didn't hang out outside of the show.
"[Natalie] did an interview where she said you guys weren't that close because you didn't have a lot in common and that you wouldn't really talk when the cameras were off," Jackie 'O' Henderson said.
Sam appeared to be surprised by the question and dodged it by saying, "Yeah, well, look, I mean it's better to be talked about than not, isn't it in life?"
She then took a little swipe at Nat, adding, "I thought everyone might forget about me when I was having my little sabbatical, but it seems they're not, you know?"

"Look, there's nothing interesting going on there, honestly. I'm just doing my thing, out in the country," the former host added.
Sam also insisted she was loving her country life despite rumours she was "desperate" to get back to work.
Following the radio interview, Sam took to Twitter to add to what she said on-air, writing, "Look... I’m out. Nat’s wanted the job, forever.. & she’s finally got it. She just needs to get on & enjoy it - & forget about me..(even though I’m unforgettable.) #peaceout."
Natalie opened up about her relationship with Sam during an interview with Australian Women's Weekly, where she addressed rumours the two don't get along.
"The truth is we didn't really see each other outside the office," she explained. "We had vastly different lives, I guess."
"We were in different places. She was hanging with her friends, and I was spending time with my family. So, yes, we were in different places."
It comes after rumours Natalie was upset by comments Sam made about working mothers in the TV industry.
"Bosses don't ask as much of you if you're a wife or mother," she told Stellar Magazine.
"I've never shied away from hard work, but there was an expectation that Sam would do it because she's got nothing else going on. [Sometimes I'd think] 'Well, actually, I'd get something else going on if you didn't make me do this'," she added.
Natalie, who is a mum-of-two, however, is often sent overseas for stories such as the US election and regularly filled in for other colleagues at short notice.
It was also believed Sam didn't get along with co-anchor David 'Kochie' Koch.
Sam seemingly confirmed this by not inviting Kochie or Nat to her farewell lunch on her final day at Sunrise.
Instead, she was joined at Catalina in Sydney's Rose Bay by her new husband Richard Lavender, Sunrise executive producer Michael Pell and Morning Show host Kylie Gilles.
Kochie later admitted on the Kyle and Jackie O Show that he and Nat "didn't know about it".
Kochie quickly went on to play down the alleged snub, saying that the network had planned a 'big postponed Christmas party' the following day.
Nat piped up to say that the Sunrise team had been 'drinking all through the morning' on Sam's last day.
Despite following most of her Channel Seven colleagues, Sam doesn't follow Nat or Kochie on Instagram.
