“Summer House: Martha's Vineyard”'s Jasmine Ellis Cooper Shares Scenes from Blue-Filled Baby Shower (Exclusive)

The reality TV star is expecting her first baby, a son, with husband Silas

Jasmine Ellis Cooper is getting closer to meeting her baby boy.

The Summer House: Martha's Vineyard star, 31, exclusively shared photos from her blue-filled baby shower with PEOPLE, taking a minute to celebrate her baby boy on the way before she welcomes her little one.

"My mom and I were really keen on making sure everyone, including me, could join in the fun and enjoy the celebrations — it was a big moment for us and our loved ones," Cooper tells PEOPLE, sharing a photo of the entrance to the event.

A lilac column with a variety of drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, stood next to the welcome sign.

"We thought it'd be great to have both alcoholic and non-alcoholic bubbles for welcoming our guests as soon as they walk into the baby shower. That way, everyone could have a blast, no matter their preferences."

The star was joined by her grandmother at the event, posing together under a sign that read "Baby Blooms and Blues" while Cooper placed a hand under her belly. "My grandmother has been a big help during my pregnancy, and she is staying with me while [husband] Silas is abroad," Cooper says.

"It feels like a wonderful sleepover every day until the baby arrives, and the baby shower was no exception."

There was also a section of the party devoted to champagne and macarons, which Cooper reveals has been one of her pregnancy cravings. The mini bottles of alcohol even had a tag that read "Pop It When She Pops!"

"Thanks to Luc-Belarie, I was able to provide Prosecco and my current pregnancy obsessions, macarons, to be unwrapped when Baby Cooper arrives," she reveals.

"I thought they would make wonderful gifts for our guests as we count down and celebrate Baby Cooper's upcoming birth."

The event included fun events such as a Diaper Toss, which Cooper says "was just one of the games in the Baby Shower Olympics."

The star initially shared her pregnancy news with PEOPLE exclusively in November, revealing she's expecting her first baby with husband Silas Cooper. "We have been trying for a little while. It's not like we were preventing, to be honest," she laughed at the time. "One day, I was just feeling a little weird and, you know how you have a gut feeling? I took a test and it came out positive."

The mom-to-be added, "Everything in my mind that I had envisioned on how I was going to tell him — because we've both wanted to be parents and build a family — completely just went out the window. I literally just ran into the other room, I jumped on him and said, 'We're pregnant! We did it!'"

Admitting Silas was caught off guard by the revelation, she continued, "He got really emotional and shed a tear or two. It was really exciting and very simple. I wish I would have documented it, but the way he reacted is cemented in my brain."
