Yahoo Lifestyle 'Sullivan's Crossing' Fans Want Answers After Surprise Season 3 News
Sullivan's Crossing aired its season 2 finale in the United States back in December 2024, and fans are eagerly waiting for it to come back. Unfortunately for fans, though, it looks like it may be a while before we get a chance to head back to the Crossing.
The hit Canadian-American drama got renewed for season 3 back in June 2024, and fans were ecstatic to know that they get to see more stories featuring Maggie Sullivan (Morgan Kohan), Harry "Sully" Sullivan (Scott Patterson) and Cal Jones (Chad Michael Murray). Well, it looks like Sullivan's Crossing revealed a surprise development, and it has to do with when new episodes will air on television. In a new post uploaded on the show's Canadian Instagram account, folks learned Sullivan's Crossing season 3 is done filming — and the first episode will premiere on Canada's CTV channel sometime in April 2025.
"Excited is an understatement!" the caption read alongside the announcement. "What are you looking forward to in season 3? New season of #SullivansCrossing coming this April!"
While fans were excited to know Sullivan's Crossing is coming back, American fans had some questions about it. Mainly, folks want to know when season 3 episodes will air on the CW, the network the show airs on in the U.S.
"When can we expect it on the CW for USA viewers!? ❤️❤️," one person wrote in the comments. "I’m looking forward for S3 just to start!! Can’t come soon enough!" another declared. "Great series 🌟 Looking forward to watching season 3," a different follower added.
While Canadian fans will have the opportunity to see what's happening with the folks residing in Sullivan's Crossing soon, it may disappoint U.S. fans to know that there's no update on when they can watch Sullivan's Crossing season 3. But if the TV schedule from past seasons provides any indication, viewers in the United States can expect to see new episodes air sometime in the fall of 2025.
So, what can fans expect to see from Sullivan's Crossing season 3? While the new premise is understandably being kept under wraps, fans may remember Maggie chose to stay at the Crossing after helping her dad raise enough money to keep the establishment from closing. Elsewhere, viewers finally got to see Maggie and Cal admit their love for one another... except Maggie is pregnant with her ex Andrew Mathews (Allan Hawco)'s baby.
Well, this is definitely an intriguing place to be... and we can't wait until its our turn to watch Sullivan's Crossing.
