Influencer ditches wedding dress for crop top and skirt

If there’s anybody who knows how to organise an Instagrammable wedding, it’s an influencer – and Steph Claire Smith proved that to be true with her stunning country Victoria nuptials at the weekend.

The 25-year-old walked down a lush aisle, lined with blush-toned roses and dried pampas, wearing a bandeau crop top and skirt by Australian designer, Chosen By One Day.

For the reception, the influencer - who founded the Keep It Cleaner fitness and meal planning program and has 1.5 million Instagram followers - changed into a cut-out long white dress, complete with thigh-high slit and a pair of crisp white trainers.

Each of Steph’s six bridesmaids donned rose-coloured dresses by Shona Joy, and the men all suited up in black tuxedos for the special occasion.

Steph said ‘I do’ to fiance Josh Miller in the exact same spot they got engaged one year ago, in Bearii on the NSW-Victorian border, with the location transformed into a glamping paradise.

Guests dined in a huge tent which was again decorated with thousands of flowers and fairy lights.

The grounds were also spotted with tents, which came complete with comfortable double beds for all the wedding guests to stay in.

Just days before her big day, Steph took to her Instagram to let her followers know that she wasn’t doing anything out of the ordinary in the lead up to her wedding.

“I love working out, I love eating well, but I also love pizza, cheese, wine and chocolate and I haven’t deprived myself of any of those things leading up to the wedding. Why? Because when I’m too strict on myself I’m not happy, and I’d rather be happy in the lead up to the wedding,” she said.

“Sure I’d like to feel my best on my wedding day, but my best isn’t my skinniest, and who the heck made up the idea that we HAVE to look our best on our wedding day anyway. I cannot wait to walk down that aisle towards the love of my life that loves me for me, because whenever I’m around him I honestly feel my best anyway.”
