‘Station 19’ Star Jay Hayden Joins ’FBI: International’
Jay Hayden is making moves from the Seattle Fire Department to the FBI. The Station 19 star is set to join FBI: International for a Season 4 arc as an agent in Budapest. He'll play Tyler Booth, an intelligent and charismatic agent in need of help on a case. Hopefully, the Fly Team will be up to the challenge after all the changes they've already been through, as Season 4 also marks the debut of Jesse Lee Soffer as the new agent in charge.
At the end of Season 3, former Supervisory Agent Scott Forrester (Luke Kleintank) left his post when he went on the run with his double agent mother, allowing Kleintank to spend time with his family. Soffer will play the "charming and rakish" Agent Wes Mitchell, and he'll lead the remaining Fly Team: Andre Raines (Carter Redwood), Cameron Vo (Vinessa Vidotto), Smitty Garretson (Eva-Jane Willis), and Amanda Tate (Christina Wolfe). While both FBI and FBI: Most Wanted are set in the New York City field office, International is based in Budapest and deals with FBI cases all over Europe.

Hayden most recently played firefighter Travis Montgomery on ABC's Station 19, a Grey's Anatomy spinoff that followed the professional and personal lives of Seattle firefighters. The series was canceled after seven seasons and ended earlier this year, and he's not the only Station 19 alum to find a new regular gig. Danielle Savre, who played Maya Bishop, has joined Season 2 of NBC's Found.
Hayden shared the news of his casting on Instagram, writing that he was "very excited." He also credited girlfriend and Station 19 co-star Jaina Lee Ortiz for his headshot, and she chimed in via the comments. "Woohoo!!!! Okay side note: took this photo w/ my iphone during Covid, but we need some updated shots asap!"
FBI, FBI: International and FBI: Most Wanted all return to CBS on October 15.
