Starbucks’ New At-Home Coffee Is an Instant Game Changer
Starbucks is giving fans a good reason to switch up how they enjoy their coffee.
On Tuesday, the coffee powerhouse announced a new retail product on its way to store shelves that could change how you're making your coffee—regardless of whether you prefer hot or iced—in an instant.
The new addition is a first-of-its-kind for the brand, which already has a healthy lineup of creamers, coffee beans, ground coffee and K-Cups, as well as reusable mugs and tumblers.

Starbucks Crema Collection is a new line of "premium instant coffee" that debuted on Feb. 11 in three distinct flavor varieties: Salted Caramel, Madagascar Vanilla and Molten Chocolate.
The brand describes the new offering as more than just an instant coffee but "a frothing coffee that provides consumers with a convenient and flavor-forward indulgence" that can be enjoyed as hot coffee or iced.
When prepared correctly, the end result is a truly frothy and flavorful cup of Joe with just the right amount of sweetness that can be topped off with your choice of creamer or sipped on as is.
It's worth noting that the Crema Collection—available wherever consumers find other Starbucks retail products—does contain milk, wheat and sugar. It's also sold in 7.12-ounce tins instead of individual serving packets like the brand's other instant coffees.
The new line comes a few weeks after the release of an entirely new collection of reusable cup designs inspired by Valentine's Day and the Lunar New Year.
It's not just the retail side of the coffee chain that's getting an update. Starbies' cupid-inspired menu is officially available for a limited time. It brings with it several returning seasonal favorites, including its popular lavender drinks and three all-new mocktail-style Refreshers.
Still, not all of the recent changes implemented by Starbucks—menu-related or not—have been so welcomed by fans. While loyal customers probably appreciated its decision to stop charging extra for non-dairy milk alternatives, expand free drink refills and employ a more efficient process for mobile orders, some took issue with the company's recent choice to limit how many items could be added to each mobile order.
