Starbucks’ Fall Menu Has Officially Landed With 8 Seasonal Drinks and 4 Baked Treats
Iced Caramel Apple Cream Latte, anyone?
Starbucks is here to satiate your pumpkin spice cravings — and luckily, this year’s menu is arriving even earlier than usual. Tomorrow, the quintessentially fall Pumpkin Spice Latte hits menus nationwide for its 21st fall season, according to a company press release. For those with a particularly strong sweet tooth, no worries: These beverages arrive alongside a lineup of sweet and spiced autumnal treats, including a new cake pop.
Never heard of the notorious (yet fiercely beloved) Pumpkin Spice Latte? You’re probably in the minority at this point, as the once-groundbreaking beverage has sparked countless pumpkin iterations each and every year. The PSL is joined by perhaps one of the biggest seasonal menus in the chain’s history. Off the bat, we can expect two app-exclusive offerings — the Iced Caramel Apple Cream Latte and non-dairy Iced Honey Apple Almond Milk Flat White — as well as the returning Iced Apple Crisp Oatmilk Shaken Espresso and the Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato.
Also returning to the rotation is the fan-favorite Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, a spiced cold foam-topped coffee first introduced in 2019, created with vanilla syrup and dusted with a blend of pie spices. Over the years, this sweet, pillowy foam took a leading role in creative drink modifications — including last year’s Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai. Emerging as a menu newcomer, however, is none other than the Iced Apple Crisp Nondairy Cream Chai, a cream-topped tea bringing flavors of honey-drizzled apples and cinnamon. It arrives alongside the playful Racoon Cake Pop, a vanilla buttercream dessert that debuts in stores tomorrow. (Only time will tell if the forest creature sparks the same heated debates as the bumblebee-shaped pop of Starbucks menus past, though.)
You’ll also be able to snack on the seasonal Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin, Pumpkin and Pepita Loaf, and the Baked Apple Croissant — the last of which sold out rapidly last year, per online sleuths.
The PSL’s annual return marks the return of fall for some devoted coffee drinkers, according to a Starbucks spokesperson. In the planning of each years’ lineup, the team focuses on comfort and nostalgia — with a heaping serving of innovation, too. During the most recent autumns, the Starbucks team has focused on offering cold beverages for the season. This includes this years’ new Iced Apple Crisp Nondairy Cream Chai, plus the shaken espresso and iced chai launched last year.
Rumors of the coffee chain’s autumnal launch have been brewing for quite some time. On Instagram, the trusted @Markie_Devo walked viewers through a leaked version of the menu, which looks surprisingly similar to Starbucks’ confirmation. As the drink launched on August 24 last year (which tied for the then-earliest launch with Starbucks’ 2021 rollout), this fall’s menu marks the earliest pumpkin spice season in history. The exact launch date varies slightly year-by-year, according to a Starbucks spokesperson.

Starbucks might’ve been the driving force behind solidifying the PSL’s status when it first launched the drink in 2003, but the original beverage has sparked creative takes on pumpkin spice from brands spanning the food and beverage industries. This year’s launches range from the more reasonable — such as PSL-reminiscent donuts and other treats — to perhaps more head-scratching, namely in the case of Hefty’s scented trash bags. Hmm.
To top it all off, the coffee chain is offering a new line of seasonally appropriate merchandise, including a metallic orange tumbler and olive green Starbucks x Stanley Quencher cup. Just in case you prefer your late-summer PSL iced.
