President-elect Donald Trump announced Thursday that he has appointed a few of his favorite celebrity hangers-on as his “special ambassadors” to Hollywood.

Trump shared on Truth Social that it was his “honor” to appoint Jon Voight, Mel Gibson, and Sylvester Stallone to be his envoys to California’s “great but very troubled place.”

“They will serve as Special Envoys to me for the purpose of bringing Hollywood, which has lost much business over the last four years to Foreign Countries, BACK—BIGGER, BETTER, AND STRONGER THAN EVER BEFORE!” wrote Trump. He added, “These three very talented people will be my eyes and ears, and I will get done what they suggest. It will again be, like The United States of America itself, The Golden Age of Hollywood!”

Voight, Gibson and Stallone have all been spotted paling around with Trump over the years at functions held at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Club.

Voight, 85, father of actor Angelina Jolie, celebrated Trump’s victory over Vice President Kamala Harris with glee in November at an election watch party at the club, reported The Daily Mail.

Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who snapped a selfie with Voight at the time, shared: “What an incredible night for our country! Such a wonderful night celebrating President Trump’s historic win.”

Stallone has also been cozying up to Trump amid plans to get a proposed seaweed barrier near his North End Palm Beach home approved. When residents of his community opposed the plan, Stallone reportedly name-dropped Trump as someone he is working with at a town council meeting in December.

“It’s unbelievable to me that you can have your house … and you can have some guy sit there for 10 months and do his laundry in front, and there’s nothing you can do about it,” said Stallone. He added that he is working with Trump, with whom he is friends, on the issue.

And in true Gibson fashion, he made his allegiance to Trump known before the results of the 2024 election by insulting Vice President Harris, alleging she had the “IQ of a fence post.”
