After suffering a devastating loss, Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag are feeling grateful for their supportive fans.

The couple have been reaching out to their followers in the days since their Pacific Palisades home burned down, asking them to stream and download Montag's 2010 album, Superficial—and it seems their efforts worked: The album was No. 1 on the iTunes U.S. album chart by Sunday, Jan. 12.

“We spent all of our money on this album,” the Hills alum said, adding that the record only sold 1,000 copies during its first week on sale.

“Every dollar we made from The Hills, we put into this album,” Pratt continued. “For it to finally get No. 1 in America, 15 years after…Do you know how many times we’ve cried and how much regret we’ve had about spending all of our money and investing it and believing in Heidi’s music?”

Montag also thanked fans in a video shared to her Instagram Stories, as Us Weekly reported.

“Thank you so much to everyone. No. 1 on iTunes chart, oh my gosh,” Montag said. “Thank you for the overwhelming love and support of my music and really rallying behind us in this devastating time and making it such a blessing.”

“Thank you for helping support us, helping build us back up, helping to encourage us, give us that hope and faith and excitement in such a dark, dark time,” Montag continued. “No. 1, ahhh! Oh my gosh, I can’t believe it. And it’s the 15th anniversary of Superficial. So, the timing is just crazy. It’s so crazy, thank you…”
