Yahoo Lifestyle Sources Spill on How Jennifer Garner Feels About J.Lo’s Sister “Popping Up” at Violet Affleck’s School
Jennifer Lopez might be getting divorced from Ben Affleck (right in the middle of them promoting a movie together]), but she’s stayed close to Ben’s kids, particularly Violet Affleck. It fact, it looks like J.Lo’s extended family is making an effort to stay in touch and show up for each other, at least based on her sister Lynda visiting Violet at Yale.
And if you’re wondering how Jennifer Garner feels about this surprise trip, Daily Mail sources are now weighing in.
“J.Lo getting close to Violet felt odd to Jen and then Lynda popping up at Violet’s school,” a source alleged to the Daily Mail. “Jen’s loyalty is to the father of her kids—Ben—and their children. Because they love J.Lo. But Jen would never badmouth her or speak negatively about her. Everyone knows that if J.Lo wanted to spend time with her children aside from Violet, it would have to go through Jen.”
The insider also claimed, “Jen no longer wishes to have communication with J.Lo unless it is do with the kids. Her friends feel she shouldn’t have allowed herself to get so involved in helping J.Lo to fix her marriage to Ben. Especially considering Jen felt pitted against J.Lo at times during their own marriage. Jen is too nice and truly wanted to help, so she tried.”
Back in July, a source told Entertainment Tonight that J.Lo and Violet in particular had “gotten close throughout Jen and Ben’s relationship and maintaining that closeness is important to everyone.”
They added, “Ben certainly doesn’t want to cause any strain between Jen and Violet, and he is in support of them spending time together. It’s a little tricky for him, but both Jen and Ben want all their kids to be happy, regardless of the issues they are facing in their marriage.”
