Sony’s ‘Stags’ TV Series Gets U.S. Debut for PlayStation Plus Subscribers (EXCLUSIVE)
Sony is plugging its PlayStation Plus subscription with a new free perk that has nothing to do with gaming: limited-time streaming access for Sony-produced British TV series “Stags.”
Hailing from Sony Pictures Television’s Eleven Film, “Stags” will premiere in the U.S. on Feb. 11 exclusively for current PlayStation Plus subscribers only via the PS4 and PS5 console’s Sony Pictures Core app. The six-episode first season of the series will be available to stream until March 24.

There will not be an option to purchase the series or episodes, which are only available to stream part of a user’s PlayStation Plus membership across the Essential ($9.99 per month), Extra ($14.99) or Premium ($17.99) tiers.
“Stags” follows groom-to-be Stu and his friends on his stag party in South America. What was meant to be a week of drink, drugs, and fun turns dark as airport security discovers that one of the stags is smuggling cocaine. Instead of boarding a plane, the group is thrown into a notorious and depraved prison island run by two warring, drug-dealing siblings and it becomes clear that the stags need to pick a side if they have any chance of survival. Friendships are tested and life-long loyalty is sacrificed as Stu and his friends begin to question, who will make it home?
The series debuted on Paramount+ in the U.K. last August.
“Stags” stars Nico Mirallegro (“Passenger”), Charlie Cooper (“This Country”), Asim Chaudry (“People Just Do Nothing”), Corin Silva (“SAS: Rogue Heroes”), Sophie Lenglinger, Paul Forman (“Emily in Paris”), Jojo Macari (“Sex Education”), Cavan Clerkin (“The Last Kingdom”), Paulina Gálvez (“Desperation Road”) and Oscar Foronda (“Mallorca Files”).
“Stags” is executive produced by Joel Wilson, Olivia Trench and Carissa Hope Lynch.
