Sofía Vergara Unveils Her Bold Plastic Surgery Plans

Sofía Vergara hasn't gone under the knife for any cosmetic procedures yet, but she plans to.

The America's Got Talent judge, 51, recently opened up to Allure about her take on plastic surgery, and apparently, she's a big fan. In fact, Vergara said she plans to undergo all the procedures she possibly can when the time comes.

"I feel like I'm going to do every plastic surgery that I can do when I'm ready," she told the publication in a profile story published Tuesday, May 28, after noting that it just makes sense to "take advantage" of all the anti-aging procedures out there these days.

As for why she hasn't gone under the knife yet, the Modern Family alum said it all comes down to her work schedule.

"I wish I had more downtime; I would've done stuff already," she shared. "[But] because I'm in front of the camera, it's not like I can do something and then sit in my house recuperating for weeks."

In the meantime, Vergara said she's been getting minor procedures done for a while now, including Botox injections around her neck and her eyes.

However, she stressed, "I don't believe in filler."

"I feel filler does good when you're really young and you want a little bit more cheeks or to plump your lips a little bit," she explained. "At my age—51—I feel it's not going to make you look younger. It is going to make you look more done. And I feel like it actually doesn't pull you up; it kind of weighs [you down.] So I am against that, once you hit a certain age."

Elsewhere in the conversation, Vergara also talked about the importance of preventative measures when it comes to defying age, including how critical it is to lather on sunscreen.

After being committed to protecting her skin with SPF, Vergara said, "I do think it makes a difference."

"I'm 51 and I can compare myself to my friends that have never [worn sunscreen], and now they're all like, F—k, why didn't we pay attention to you."
