Society Thinks Brett Goldstein and J.Lo Might Get Together Thanks to Their 'Office Romance' Movie
If you're someone who (a) loves nothing more than obsessing over couples who aren't even together (b) is rooting for Jennifer Lopez to rebound from Ben Affleck as soon as humanly possible, and (c) loves a rom-com, then gather 'round because we need to talk about Office Romance. And honestly there's a lot to say, so let's break things down into chapters.
Chapter One: The Movie
Office Romance comes from Netflix, which means you can watch it from the comfort of your couch, then stare at the ceiling/disassociate for a bit, and then watch it again from the comfort of your bed. Psst: turns out J.Lo's recent films from the streaming giant (Mother and Atlas) did extreeeeemely well, so it's not exactly a shock that Netflix is hungry for more.
Anyway, Deadline describes Office Romance as an "irreverent romantic comedy" which had a "hot bidding war" (Netflix won, obviously) and features some "great character actor roles." At this point, there are no plot details to speak of, but gonna go ahead and assume J.Lo falls in love...at an office. With whom, you ask? This man↓↓
Chapter Two: Brett Goldstein
Emmy winner Brett Goldstein (who is best known for playing Roy Kent in Ted Lasso) is starring alongside J.Lo in the movie, and he also wrote the script with Joe Kelly. On top of that, both he and J.Lo are among the fleet of producers. Point is: J.Lo and Brett are going to be working closely together.
Chapter Three: THE LORE
For those of you who haven't been obsessed with Brett since Ted Lasso season 1, he is, in turn, obsessed with J.Lo. Like, the man has made it CLEAR she is not just his number one celebrity crush, but his number one crush period.
Here is Ben gushing about J.Lo in Hustlers, saying on his Films to Be Buried With podcast, "Fucking hell...50! She's 50! I love her," and "I've never wanted to be cuddled more. That is one of the best cuddles...give me one of your special cuddles."

Then there was the time he simply reposted J.Lo with mind-blown and heart-eye emojis:
Never forget that Brett Goldstein loves @JLo...
Said she was his crush and now starring in a romcom together...

The man is down bad.
Chapter Four: Their Relationship Status
As we all are well aware, J.Lo just filed for divorce from Ben Affleck (on their two-year wedding anniversary, no less). However! The former couple was recently spotted kissing and holding hands at the Polo Lounge during brunch, so it's unclear what's going on with their whole vibe. But sources have told both People and TMZ their divorce is 100 percent still happening.
Per People's insider, “They all came together for a fun lunch so the kids could hang out. [Jennifer’s] trying to be friendly with Ben. They are still moving forward with the divorce though. They are working out financial details amicably.”
It should also be said that J.Lo and Ben also have a movie coming out called Unstoppable, which premiered at TIFF and could be an awards contender. Meaning: the exes might be doing some red carpets together while they navigate their breakup.
Meanwhile, Page Six reports Brett appears to be single/ready to mingle, and his "only public romance was with actress Beth Rylance in 2021."
Cool, will just be here analyzing every pic that comes out from set once they start filming.
