‘SNL’ Promo: Jacob Elordi Takes His First Steps At Studio 8H

It’s back to basics for Jacob Elordi as he prepares to host Saturday Night Live this weekend.

The first promo for the Saltburn star’s SNL turn dropped today and it shows the actor struggling even before he gets to his monologue.

As Elordi walks through the famous wood and glass doors at Studio 8H he stops, anxiously looking at the steps that lead to the main stage.

“They all make it look sooo easy,” he says to himself as a montage of previous hosts bounding down the stairs plays.

Cast members Marcello Hernandez and Punkie Johnson appear to offer encouragement.

Elordi tries walking down the stairs in a crouch, sliding and bumping down the steps on his butt before finally launching himself over the edge for a fully upright descent.

SNL airs Saturday at 11:30 p.m. ET/8:30 p.m PT on NBC and streams live on Peacock with host Jacob Elordi and musical guest Reneé Rapp.
