SNL cold open about the election includes Dana Carvey as Elon Musk

How would Saturday Night Live deal with the recent presidential election results when they spend many a show mocking Donald Trump.

The answer is in the cold open from Saturday's show hosted by Bill Burr (whose Buffalo Wild Wings ad was very funny): the cast stood in a set that looked like the Oval Office and talked about how criticizing Trump could mean retribution.

So that's why the entire sketch was (jokingly, of course) about how they support him, featuring James Austin Johnson as Trump with a muscular body. There was also a Dana Carvey playing Elon Musk.
