Jenna Bush Hager is gearing up for what's sure to be nothing less than a bittersweet day—her TV debut without her regular Today co-host, Hoda Kotb—with a sneak peek at what's to come.
On Monday, Variety published a detailed glimpse inside Bush Hager's first episode of her solo segment, Today With Jenna & Friends. It's not until a driver eager to snap a picture of her stops to let Bush Hager through the intersection, shouting, "Don’t run me over!"
Though it's quite the uplifting and energetic opening act, the days leading up to her big career move have been fairly emotional—case and point, when it came time to preview the new theme song for her morning talk show.
During yesterday's episode of Today With Hoda & Jenna, the two played a portion of the music that will introduce Bush Hager's series launching next week.

"I was picturing you and how proud I'm gonna be of you, walking from that wall to this desk with that song!" Kotb, 60, said on the Jan. 6 episode as Bush Hager teared up next to her.
"It's gonna be awesome, it's gonna be amazing!" she cheered.
"You guys," Bush Hager interjected, sobbing, "How am I going to be able to get through this week?"
This week leading up to Kotb's last day in her usual seat at the table on Friday, Jan. 10, has been dubbed a "Hoda-bration" by the network and includes several special segments honoring the longtime anchor that are guaranteed to tug at viewers' heartstrings.
Today With Jenna & Friends will debut on NBC on Monday, Jan. 13, alongside the help of her co-hosts for the week: Taraji P. Henson, Eva Longoria and Keke Palmer.
