Sinbad is making his way back to public life after years out of the spotlight.

Since suffering a stroke in 2020, the 67-year-old comedian has mostly been leading a private life, but he recently made his first public appearance in almost four years—and fans were so happy to see him.

Sinbad got to join a reunion of the cast of A Different World as part of their 10-city tour to HBCU campuses last week, joining the engagement via video call—and his rare appearance made the audience go completely wild.

While cast members from the hit sitcom appeared onstage at Atlanta's Morehouse College on Feb. 29, Sinbad—who starred on the show as Coach Walter Oakes from 1987 to 1991—joined in via Zoom, delighting fans with his first public appearance since before his stroke.

Still reeling from the experience days later, Sinbad shared a video on Instagram to speak out about his recent appearance, calling it "so cool" to get back out there.

"It's wild the kids even know who I am," he said in the Instagram post uploaded on Monday, March 4. "That’s beautiful."

Sinbad went on to say, "Thank you to everybody who's been praying for me and saying good things and supporting me during this time in my life. It means a lot to me."

"Expect to see more of me soon," he added before concluding the clip, which ended with him stating, "Miracles happen."

In his caption, Sinbad once again thanked his supporters for the prayers and positive thoughts, which he says have "carried me this far and will see me through to the finish line. It really is a different world out here!"

Tons of Sinbad's fans, friends and family took to the comments to applaud how well he seems to be recovering from the 2020 stroke, which impaired his walking and speaking abilities.

"So good to see and hear you.👏👏👏👏," fellow comedian Howie Mandel commented under the post, while Terry Crews added, "🔥🔥🔥🔥 GREAT TO SEE YOU BROTHER."

"Aw man, I can’t stop grinning!" Wanda Sykes chimed in. "Love you Sinbad! So good to see you brother.❤️💪🏾"
