Simone Biles is getting ready for Paris, which means she’s bidding adieu to husband Jonathan Owens — for now.

On Monday, July 15, the seven-time Olympic medalist, who is competing on her third Olympic team, shared two sweet snaps on her Instagram Stories as she prepares to join Team USA abroad.

“See you in Paris baby,” Biles, 27, wrote alongside one image of the couple, who recently celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary.

In the photo, a smiley and shirtless Owens, 28, hugs his wife as the couple looks at the camera. In another snap, Biles showed a comfy bed bedecked with an Olympics quilt and a stuffed animal that — fittingly — looks like a goat.

As Biles stands poised to add to her medal count, her husband is ready to take it all in.

The Chicago Bears safety recently opened up to PEOPLE about his enthusiasm for watching the most decorated gymnast of all time, who happens to be his wife, soar to new heights.

“It's super exciting just because I get a chance to see all the work that she puts in prior to, and you know what? Everything she goes through and dealing with the media and everything, and she still goes out there and does it,” Owens said, while speaking about his new partnership with GoodSport. “It's just impressive."

It’s all something Owens can appreciate, as a husband and as an athlete.

With the Bears granting him a few days away from training camp, he intends to cheer her on as Biles competes.

The couple also hopes to make time to take in some art and do a little shopping while Owens experiences his first time in the City of Light.

“I'm ready. I'm excited,” he told PEOPLE. “I can't wait to watch.”
