Simone Biles Goes for Silver in Sexy, Barely-There Sequin Hotpants for “Sports Illustrated” Cover Shoot
The pro athlete is showing some major leg and style!
Simone Biles is coming in first place for style.
On Thursday, Jan. 2, the most decorated gymnast of all time, 27, was unveiled as Sports Illustrated’s 2024 Sportsperson of the Year. For the coveted shoot, the Olympic athlete stunned in a variety of looks.
Standing in a studio with a gray backdrop, Biles stood out as she smiled in a long-sleeved Meg bodysuit by SER.O.YA. The best-selling turtleneck style comes in two color options, solid black and white, and retails at $168.
Biles paired the sleek black top with Retrofête’s Braelynn Crystal Hot Shorts.
The polyester bottoms, priced at $598, feature a high waist and cut, perfect for showing some major leg. Underlined with black material, the hotpants added the perfect contrast to her solid black top by offering massive sparkle.
For shoes, she stepped into sexy, strappy Giuseppe Zanotti heels and accessorized with an assortment of silver pieces from Effy Jewelry.

Mixed in with her jewelry was her wedding ring from her Chicago Bears safety husband Jonathan Owens, 29. The couple tied the knot in 2023.
Each of her almond-shaped nails donned a custom design, and the gymnast wore loose curls with fun and flirty blonde highlights by Chicago-based celebrity hairstylist Justin Revenge.
But that’s not the only look she rocked for the shoot.
Biles brought sexy to new heights in a low-cut, sleeveless black mesh bodysuit by David Koma styled with a gravity-defying structured skirt from the same designer. This time around, Biles went for jewelry from Jacob & Co.
The gold medalist completed her cover look with a head-turning snakeskin top.
In her interview with Sports Illustrated, Biles spoke about life after her record-breaking performance at the Paris Olympics over the summer.
“The pressure of Paris, especially coming off [of the] Tokyo [Olympics], was a lot, but I’ve been in a lot of therapy, so I know how to handle it,” she said.
“I wanted to be open and honest with my audience about exactly what I was going through because as an elite athlete, everybody thinks that every moment that we have in athletics is great, it’s the best, but we go through some lows too and we deal with things just like everyone else might,” the gymnast said.

For Biles, getting to share her insight made her feel that others could relate to her: “It was kind of nice for me because then it shows we’re all going through this together.”
The sports pro has been open about prioritizing her mental health.
While addressing a fan in her Instagram Stories in July 2023, Biles said she was “handling the mental side” of returning to the sport with “lot’s of therapy.”
“I go once a week for almost 2 hrs,” Biles shared. “I’ve had so much trauma, so being able to work on some of the traumas & work on healing is a blessing.”
