Will Shrinking Pair Robin & Marshall? Can Landman Men Be Less Creepy? Did Full Monty Make You Miss OG SYTYCD? Did Matlock Cross a Line? More Qs!

We’ve got questions, and you’ve (maybe) got answers! With another week of TV gone by, we’re lobbing queries left and right about Shrinking, Blue Bloods, Taylor Sheridan: Actor, Matlock and more!

| Since the still-alive Bo visited Martin at the hospital in the finale of The Sticky, are we to assume that Ruth’s husband was also a part of the Boston crime family? And if the show returns for Season 2, how in the world will Remy get his father out of prison?

| While no one could be surprised to hear Blue Bloods’ Pops be dismissive about “pronouns,” didn’t that quip nonetheless feel a bit out of place on the show? Also, would Danny really so clumsily announce a student’s suicide in front of a dorm full of girls, when that’s the kind of news an RA or dorm director would want to sensitively disseminate?

| On Fire Country, was Audrey’s futile “acetone will weaken the zipties!” gambit just an excuse to spill an accelerant on the floor for later? Wasn’t she awfully noisy when trying to open the locker with the robber just a few feet away? And as one TVLine reader suggested, would parolee Bode be allowed inside a pot shop? ▼

| Should Landman maybe cool it with all of the jokes about grown men lusting after Tommy’s teen daughter, Ainsley…?

| We wish Lioness‘ QRF team only the best, but realistically, shouldn’t at least one operator not have walked away from that Iranian onslaught?

| Did our ears deceive us, or did Yellowstone’s Rip call Carter “Toby” when telling Ryan how his friend died? And as much fun as Taylor Sheridan must have had writing the many, many disses of his character, Travis, weren’t there better uses of the show’s time in its penultimate episode — especially in an hour that reunited Jimmy and Emily, and Walker and Laramie? Speaking of….

| Forget that he has three (and sometimes four) shows airing/streaming all on Sunday, is Taylor Sheridan the first showrunner to also guest-star on two of them (Yellowstone and Lioness) on the same day? ▶

| Is NCIS’ Lily mystery playing out a bit snoozier than you had expected? (It won’t possibly just be about Parker having “mommy issues,” right?)

| Did NCIS: Origins’ Randy telling someone “I’m picking up what you’re putting down” not seem very 1991?

| Any longtime Neighborhood viewers catch these Easter eggs? ▼

| Did watching how big a part choreographer Mandy Moore played in The Real Full Monty make you long for the So You Think You Can Dance of yore?

| Was Brilliant Minds‘ Baby Maya perhaps the cutest infant you’ve seen on TV this year? ▼

| Did FBI’s circling-camera, interrogation room “oner” remind you of the one previously pulled off by Dick Wolf sister series Chicago P.D. in March 2021? ▼

| Watching Station 19 alum Jay Hayden majorly guest-star on FBI: International this week, did you kinda wonder if he went up for the role of new Fly Team leader Wes?

| Was it weird to see Fire Country good guy Rick (actor Adam Aalderks) play an FBI: Most Wanted bad guy just weeks later? ▼ Also, why did Most Wanted mischaracterize Bumble as some sort of dating app for casual hookups?

| For those who wanted more Robin/Marshall storylines on How I Met Your Mother, did Cobie Smulders guest spot on Jason Segel’s Shrinking this week hit the spot? ▼ Speaking of, the show is totally going there with Marshall and Robin— err, Jimmy and Sofi, right? Did anyone else catch Segel crack when Ted McGinley’s Derek made that lotion joke?

| Does it tickle any other ER fans to know that Noah Wyle (Carter) and Eriq La Salle (Benton) both have new shows — Max’s The Pitt and Prime Video’s On Call — that A) share the same premiere date (Jan. 9, 2025), and B) are getting released on a Thursday, of all days?  ▼

| Without giving too much away about The Day of the Jackal‘s finale: Were you surprised that final death at the end wasn’t given more weight? (We didn’t even get to see the family react.) How, exactly, did Charles recover from what had to be life-threatening injuries in that car crash? And what are you hoping to see in Season 2?

| Did you enjoy this Thursday’s double dose of Rebecca Wisocky on Ghosts and The Sex Lives of College Girls?

| What was the best part about Thursday’s House of Villains: Jessie calling out Wes in the Stronghold, Wes absolutely eviscerating him in return or Joel McHale’s reaction to the whole charade? ▼

| On Ghosts, were you quite moved by Nigel’s planned wedding gift for Isaac? And why didn’t Isaac just get Trevor to press the lamp button for him?

| In retrospect, couldn’t Matlock have just opened the email attachment and snapped a pic with her phone? Or forwarded it to a sock puppet email account and deleted the “sent” record? And isn’t now eavesdropping on Julian with a “spy pen” an icky bridge too far?

| Is the actor playing Elsbeth‘s son giving Michael Urie? And after four years of his Evil wig, is it nice to see Michael Emerson with his natural hairline?

| Isn’t it wild to think that Moana 2 — which already has grossed $600 million globally – was originally developed as just a Disney+ series? Does Bob Iger get, like, a spot bonus for moving it to a theatrical release?
