Grant Ellis continued his love journey on tonight’s episode 4 of The Bachelor. But the ride was rough as one gal self-eliminated after melting down over another beauty’s behavior. The women hoped they could get past last week’s drama involving Carolina, who monopolized Grant’s time and wouldn’t stop talking about herself.
The ten remaining contestants got a change of scenery as everyone traveled to romantic Madrid, Spain to date Grant. However, they didn’t start fresh! Read on for our spoiler-filled recap to find out more.
Who went home on The Bachelor 2025 tonight?
Rose, 27, a registered nurse from Chicago, Ill., decided to eliminate herself after feuding with Carolina. Carolina had told Grant last episode that Rose had said he’d been thinking of Rose when he was dancing with Carolina. Grant had told Carolina that was a lie, while also keeping Rose on the show.
But in Episode 4, Rose tells Carolina she has no future with The Bachelor, saying, “Your actions really set me back…you backstabbed me. You f–king did me dirty!” Walking away crying, Rose told others, “I want to go home!”
She told Grant, “I had a breaking point. It is in my best interests to go home.” He guided Rose into the departure van and told the other ladies he respected her decision.
Natalie, 25, a Ph.D. student from Louisville, Ky., didn’t stand out from the pack, and Grant sent her home. She cried to cameras as she left, “I know I’m worthy of love.”
Parisa, 29, a pediatric behavior analyst from Birmingham, Mich., had received a gift from Grant, a rock from Spain because she collected them. She said after her elimination, “I’m so confused. Did I talk about rocks too much?” Parisa humorously babbled about how she’d be happy to see her cat again, who would have a daddy someday. “I hope I don’t sound insane,” she added.
Who got the first one-on-one rose on The Bachelor 2025 tonight?
The day trader chose high-powered lawyer Dina and they played soccer with kids and danced in the streets of Madrid. Dina admitted to cameras she comes from a big family where they don't discuss emotions, and men found her intimidating. The self-described “ice queen” told Grant over dinner she’d held back in previous relationships.
Grant told Dina that his own seven-year relationship ended because of his focus on career. She found him “open and honest and warm” and he liked Dina also, giving her the one-on-one date rose.

Who went on the group date on The Bachelor 2025 tonight?
Alexe, Litia, Carolina, Natalie, Rose, Parisa, Zoe, and Juliana rode donkeys through Madrid and took part in a mechanical bull riding competition after learning moves from a famed Spanish matadora (female bullfighter).
Zoe won by staying on the bull the longest and earned private time with Grant. Zoe told Grant how hard it had been for her growing up adopted and a person of color in mostly white Virginia. The hunk related strongly to her life story.
What happened with Carolina on The Bachelor 2025 tonight?
Carolina, who had received a one-on-one date last time with Grant, asked other women, “How do you get engaged after one date?” adding that she barely knew him.
Juliana called Carolina on the carpet, noting if she felt that way about The Bachelor process, “I would be packing my bags and leaving. Why are you here still?” Carolina contended that it was natural to doubt the show’s quick pace, but told Juliana and the others she’d never questioned her connection with Grant.

Nobody! With the rose on the table, Carolina cried. Grant pulled her aside, and she described her stress. Confused Grant then told the group he wouldn’t be giving out a group rose.
Who got the second one-on-one rose on The Bachelor 2025 tonight?
Sarafiena had been “flying under the radar,” Grant said, and he wanted to find out more about her. They bungee jumped off a bridge in the rain after he had worried about the danger. But Sarafiena stayed cool and talked him through it.
The two kissed while swinging upside down under the bridge. During dinner, Sarafiena told him she “had a huge wall up” because of previous relationships. Grant thought she was hesitant kissing him, but she explained, “It’s ‘cause my mom’s watching!” The contestant had grown up without a father and her single mother raised her. Grant awarded Sarafiena the second one-on-one rose, and she kissed him enthusiastically, telling cameras, “Sorry, mom!”
