Shemar Moore Splits From Girlfriend of Nearly 5 Years
Shemar Moore and Jesiree Dizon have parted ways after nearly five years together.
The breakup was initially reported by TMZ on Thursday, Jan. 30. A source confirmed the split with Parade that same day.
The S.W.A.T. star first took his relationship public with the model and actress in January 2023. Their relationship announcement coincided with the reveal that they had also welcomed a child together—a daughter named Frankie.
The news of their breakup surfaced just days after Dizon, 41, and Moore, 54, celebrated their daughter’s second birthday. The Criminal Minds actor posted a video clip mashup on Instagram that featured special moments from Frankie’s first two years of life. He also penned a sweet message to the mother of his child in the post’s caption.
“Frankie’s 2 TODAY!!! Our little sassy beautiful, smart, HAPPY MIRACLE!!!! THE LOVE OF MY LIFE!! It’s Frankie’s world!!! Thank You Jesiree 💜🎁🎁 HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY GIRL ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🎉🎉,” Moore wrote in his Jan. 24 post.

That same day, Moore gushed about the love he has for his daughter during an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show. After host Jennifer Hudson observed that the start of 2025 appeared to have been “amazing” for The Young and the Restless actor, Moore was quick to agree.
“I’m a happy dude, I’m a blessed dude,” he said. While he later reassured fans that the currently airing episodes of S.W.A.T.’s Season 8 were adding to his overall happiness, he identified his daughter as the key contributor.
“That’s my little baby girl,” he said of his toddler. "That’s my miracle. That’s little Frankie. She is the reason I’m so damn happy. And my girl Jesiree.”
Moore then told Hudson and her audience that his daughter helped him find meaning after his mother died in 2020.
“I lived my whole life to make her proud, and when she left, I was lost,” he said of his mother. Though he said he realized at the time that he was “blessed,” he recalled being “in a place of, like, ‘So what?’ Like, ‘What does it all mean? Why am I doing this?’”
It was the arrival of his daughter that changed Moore’s perspective. “And then little Frankie came along, and that’s what it’s all about, right there,” he said.
